So you are running your accommodation business, your laundry is ticking along nicely with your Brisbane Laundry Rentals machines and you have the time to focus more on the core aspects of your business…. Such as marketing it, and getting more guest staying with you.

What to do? Do you put money into a website? How about a Yellow Pages ad? A Facebook Page? Advertising on tourism sites? Our advice is no advertising is bad advertising to your business that if you are looking to get the most bang for your buck from marketing the best way you can promote it is to create a Google plus page. When people are using Google to search for “accommodation” or “hotels” plus “location” google assumes they are looking for a local accommodation providers. The big websites like Stays, Tripadvisor, the local tourist association website… these are going to dominate search results. But local accommodation providers are going to dominate Google Places and Google sometimes chooses to put as many as TEN of these listings at the top of its results. So make sure:- You have one! Make sure its fully completed. Load the ten photos they permit(of course… we’d recommend you load at least one of your Brisbane Laundry Rentals operated laundry :).

Get a promotional video done and load it. Make sure your opening hours are completed, and are accurate.

Make sure the map positioning is correct. But most importantly get some genuine reviews. Don’t try and write them yourself – Google will know and will mark them as fakes. Get some real reviews from real people saying what a great service your laundromat business provides? The best part is you don’t need a web developer or an IT expert to help you create a Google Plus listing… just a bit of time. Google has a fairly simple walk-through process for creating a Google plus page that anyone can use. So if you have an accommodation business and you don’t have a Google plus page do yourself a favour and get started on one today.
